Terms of Service
Damage or loss to items provided for each event must be reported by the client immediately.
Items are examined after each event and if items are damaged or lost during the event, the client must pay a lost or damage fee.
A $75 holding fee will be required for possible damages on the day of the event. Your deposit will be refunded within 3 business days after your picnic as long as all the picnic items are intact. Upon completion of your event, items will be inspected and any damages, loss, or extensive cleaning will result in deduction of some or all of the holding fee.
The client agrees that all picnic equipment will not be left unattended for the entire duration of the booking. During each event, the client is responsible for the items until a staff member from Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things returns for clean-up. If rental items are lost or stolen, Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things have the right to charge the client for the full value of the item.
Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things is not responsible for any injuries sustained during the Picnic event. Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items to the client’s personal belongings that may occur during the duration of the picnic event.
To ensure the continued safety of all our clients, all surfaces are sanitized before and after each picnic event. All pillowcases, blankets, napkins, table runners,s and throws are washed after each picnic event. Dinnerware, drinkware, flatware, vases, and all other items are washed before and after each picnic. Items that we are unable to wash are sanitized before and after each event. All our staff members at Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things wear gloves and mask when handling and setting up picnic items. We also provide hand sanitizer for all picnic events.
Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things does not provide alcoholic beverages. You are free to bring your own, however, please adhere to park rules regarding carrying and consumption of alcohol. Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things is not liable for any repercussions for not adhering to park rules regarding alcohol.
Due to the Cottage Foods Laws, Jazz Picnic ‘N’ Things is restricted in the list of items we are able to package in our Charcuterie Box. We only provide vegan and vegetarian options.
Full payment and a holding fee of $75 are required at the time of booking. A minimum 3-day booking notice is preferred. Once a booking is completed, a contract will be sent to the client via email. A $75 holding fee will be automatically applied to all picnic bookings at check-out. Your deposit will be refunded within 3 business days after your picnic so long as all the picnic items are intact. Upon completion of your event, items will be inspected and any damages, loss, or extensive cleaning will result in deduction of some or all of the holding fee.
For all outdoor picnic events, we recommended having an indoor option for your picnic in case of severe weather. (If an indoor alternative location is not provided, the picnic event will be rescheduled). Rescheduling is allowed for weather conditions out of our control. You may move the picnic event indoors or choose to reschedule, up to 6 months from your original picnic date.We do not offer full refunds, however, we understand that life happens, and if we are contacted 1 week (7 days) in advance, we will refund 75% of the full amount.
